Year 19 - 2025

This was a very special year full of wonderful moments and beautiful transitions. Royal Family Kids Camp welcomed 56 campers and 90 volunteers for a week rooted in hope and healing. Our theme, “I Choose New Blueprints,” reminded campers that God, our Master Builder, has a good and purposeful plan for their lives—even when they cannot yet see the finished result. Throughout the week, campers heard the story of Moses and proudly memorized Jeremiah 29:11, embracing the truth that their futures are full of promise and hope.

This year we welcomed new Grandparents to our Camp! Grandma Barb and Grandpa Fred embraced their role and our campers with open arms. Our kids and staff just fell in love with them and they did a beautiful job leading the devotions at our tea party and knighting ceremony. They eagerly participated at every camp event!

This year was especially meaningful as we welcomed Wendy McMahan, President of the For The Children National Office, to visit our camp. She was able to spend some time at our tea party and down at our lake front.  Everywhere she went, she was so impressed by the love we had for our campers! 

Wendy also joined us at our 20th Anniversary Gala in the fall as we kicked off the countdown to our 20th year!  This was Lisa’s final year as Camp Director and she passed the mantle of leadership to our new camp director, Hannah. This transition mirrored our camp verse of Jeremiah 29:11…God indeed has a beautiful plan and purpose for our lives and for Royal Family KIDS Milwaukee!

As we prepare for our 20th year of camp, we are confident that God goes before us to bring hope and healing to all of our beautiful campers this year and in the decades to come! He is faithful!!💜
