At Royal Family KIDS Camp, each child is treated like Royalty. Every activity and event is designed to provide campers with the opportunity to discover their self-worth, talents and unique abilities. Camp favorites include swimming, fishing, archery, basketball, play time, s’mores, and woodworking. We also have special events each day which are treasured traditions for our campers.
Special RFK Camp Events
The RFK Talent Show!
It’s time to shine! Each child has the opportunity to perform with their cabin at the talent show. Our stars arrive at the talent show and are greeted by their adoring fans seeking their autographs. They are then escorted to their seats until the big show.
Each cabin performs an act which showcases the talents of everyone. Singing, dancing, acrobatics, magic tricks, skits…everyone has a talent to showcase! Every year we are in awe of our amazingly talented kids!!

Let’s celebrate! Some of our campers have never experienced a birthday party of their own. They receive the Royal treatment, when they come to Everybody’s Birthday Party! We begin with a special musical entrance into the dining hall, topped off with cheers and applause from our staff. Then we sing “Happy Birthday” to all the campers for each of the months of the year. Each child is presented with their very own mini cake with their name on it, along with a birthday gift bag filled with goodies. This day is such a special day for our campers!

Birthday Party!
The Tea Party
Our friends dress up in their royal finery or superhero costumes and are escorted on the arms of our Royal Attendants. Grandma and Grandpa join in the fun, treating our royal princesses and princes to delicious treats and an opportunity to share
their dreams for their bright futures.
The Polar Bear Swim!
Are you ready to brave the icy waters of an early morning jump in the lake? Our polar bears arrive early in the morning and are ready for the challenge. We dump loads of ice into the lake, and then do a countdown as we all jump in! Our brave campers are treated to delicious hot chocolate to warm up and everyone receives their official Polar Bear certificate!

These are just a few of the highlights of camp. The week is filled with moments treasured by our campers. One of our boys expressed it best. As he was walking across the campground, he put his arm around the shoulder of a new camper and said, “Bro, this is the Sweet Life Camp!”.

Camp Director
I first became involved with Royal Family Kids Camp in 2018 when I signed up to serve as a Counselor alongside my mom and sister. Little did I know what God had in store through my simple “yes” to serving children in the foster care system. I grew up with first-hand experience with children in foster care, and I knew I wanted to be part of creating a place where they are celebrated, encouraged, and reminded of their value.
Since then, I have served in several different roles within the ministry, learning and growing alongside incredible mentors and leaders. Each role has deepened my passion for the mission of Royal Family Kids. As of 2026, I have the privilege of serving as the Director of Royal Family Kids Camp in Milwaukee. As I reflect on where God has taken me throughout my life, I am confident that He has called me to this role. It truly is a dream I didn’t even know existed until it was placed before me.
It is the deepest joy of my heart to help create meaningful memories where kids can experience the love of Christ through genuine relationships and moments that remind them they are not forgotten by their Heavenly Father.
I am incredibly grateful to be part of this Royal Family!
