Year 17 - 2023

Royal Family KIDS Camp 2023 was a great success! We hosted 33 children from Milwaukee County foster care and our staff consisted of 76 loving volunteers who helped to create a camp experience filled with hope and joy. We had volunteers representing 25 different churches!  What a picture of the body of Christ coming together on behalf of God’s precious little ones.

CAMP S.O.T.O: Our bible teacher, Shari, said that God had impressed it upon her heart to get His word and promises into the hearts of our campers.  He led her to finding puzzle necklaces with beads that the kids could earn for learning the camp verse, which was, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.  

She explained, “I remember how excited the first camper was when he approached me to eagerly recite the verse. That camper came up at every meal to say the verse and confidently recited it not only to me, but also to others. More campers joined him. Some struggled to memorize the verse at the beginning and the teacher in me helped them say the verse.  By the end of the week they were saying it on their own. Even adults got into the challenge! God is so good and so faithful. We all need this verse "hidden in our hearts!”
