In 2016, we reached the milestone of 10 years of camp, serving 448 children! We held a Legacy Dinner, featuring RFK founder Wayne Tesch. Wayne spoke of our “Decade of Hope” serving our community and said that along with the other Wisconsin chapters, we had reached six percent of all foster children in the state. We committed ourselves to trying to reach as many kids as possible and make “moments that matter!”

Special Guest Speaker: Wayne Tesch Founder of Royal Family KIDS

We also honored our first Dean of Men, Ray Schultz, who had recently passed away. Ray was a champion of compassion and a man of great faith. His legacy of love lives on in the hearts of all the kids and adults he poured his life into.
Ray’s SOTO: There was a little girl riding home on the bus who opened her photo album, looked at the pictures, closed it, and then did it over and over again. This went on for 15 minutes. Ray approached her and asked if there was something wrong with her pictures. “No,” she replied. “These are the only pictures I have of myself.”
